Today was my first day to actually visit. Sad! Although he actually had a pretty good day today. He is completely breathing on his own...no more need for the respirator and down from 100% sedation to 15%. They hope to remove the ventilator tomorrow. He seems to have been responsive...squeezing my moms hand when she asked him to and even asking to write something since he can't talk. I talked to my moms this evening and it seems that they are concerned that his fever has come back...not sure of any details on that. Such a long road ahead. It was great to see his daughters and to all have lunch. Thanks mom! :) Hang in there.....you're doing an amazing job...that's what those vows are for!!!
