We're home! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my goodness! We have been to the most blissful place ever! Randy and I took a much needed weekend vacation this weekend! We stayed in Wimberley, TX....and if you've never at least been to Wimberley...it's well worth the short drive. I don't even think I can gather my words to describe our weekend but I'll give it a whirl. First I'll start with our lodging. www.canyonsunrise.com. I blogged about it before but the pics and the website don't do it justice. The cabin was adorable, the hot tub on the deck was amazing and the pool off the deck was refreshing....all secluded i must add! ;) Just a good ole relaxing vacation....GREAT company, sleeping in (for us yes 8am is sleeping in), 2 movies in one day (unheard of around our house), too much dark chocolate fondue, the perfect amount of wine, great food, a few shops, breakfast in bed, 2 showers in one day (that's definitely something to blog about since we all know how moms and showers go), a serene car ride to and from, and well a few others I won't mention!!!!!! :)
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Mom and Ranee for watching the kiddos this weekend! I know they had an amazing time!!! We are soooooo grateful for you guys and are blessed to have the opportunity to do things like take a weekend away! Happy Grandparents Day!!!! :)
