- we were up before our kids....sad....i'm remembering back to my childhood when a specific year I was expecting to receive the ever popular Cricket doll. Not able to hold back the anticipation any longer I decided that 4am was an appropriate time to wake up my dad and step-mom...lucky for us we slept in until 8am!
- the mister was a good boy this year and received a very unexpected ipod in his stocking (of course the misses is looking forward to using it for her half-marathon)
- Santa brought Rylan a pirate ship...one that he's been dying to get his hands on since October when he laid his eyes on it at a friends birthday party. Unfortunately it took it's first voyage this afternoon when we heard the tub water running and found the pirate ship and Rylan sailing away for a mid afternoon bath! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH.....not meant for water.
- Santa brought Hadlee her first bike...can't quite reach the pedals yet but she'll get there...instead she'd rather sit on it and yell out "PUSH!"...oh and just for laughs her phrase of the day......."I PLAY"....one that she uses when being whisked away for a diaper change or nap.
- Santa brought mommy a friendly user guide for her wonderful camera...a 288 page user guide....scarey! :)
- The gift of the season...our new favorite thing... a fondue set....2 were given and 3 were received...
- ham sandwiches are on the menu for the next 25 days
- Our kids are snug in bed (although I did just have to change Rylan into a plain pair of whitey tighties b/c he informed me that the ones Daddy put on him were too fancy), our house is in clean semi-working order (lacking a little organization from the mass amount of toys that were brought into it), our air mattress is blown up calling my name, along with a glass of wine and yes more peanut blossoms, and I'm off to FINALLY kick up my heels and call it a day....a great day that is!!
- Merry Christmas to everyone!
