in today's paper...

Timothy Williams Ellis Timothy Williams Ellis, 52, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008 with his loving wife at his side. He fought a courageous battle with esophageal cancer for the last nine months. He was born on April 17, 1955 in Bryan, TX to Jerry and Esther Ellis. Tim was an electrician by trade and was employed by ABM Engineering. His family was the center of his life and he always looked forward to and enjoyed their get-togethers. A game of spades, a round of golf and cooking are the things he enjoyed most. His memory will be in our hearts forever and his laughter will remain with us always. Tim overcame many adversities in his life but he has won the final victory and is in heaven with his Lord he knew so well. He is survived by wife of three years, Linda, his loving parents, daughters Miranda, Laura, Jamie, Heather (Randy) Varela and Linsey Denning, grandchildren Rylan and Hadlee Varela and baby Varela due in October. Also survived by siblings, Sam (Joyce), David (Amy), Mark (Donna) and Lisa Schwartz (Vince), nieces and nephews Tracy, Carly (Matt), Sam, Lindsey and John, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Thank you to Linda's wonderful DPS family, Dr. Sandbach, Lisa Painter, Sarah Roberts, Dr. Hume, and Dr. O'Farrell for their special care during Tim's illness. Donations in Tim's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Mark United Methodist Church, 601 E. Braker Ln., Austin, TX.
