Dear Lady from Ikea,
I was thinking about apologizing to you and your daughter that my monster terrible horrible daughter hit your daughter in the face. UNTIL that is I asked what had happened b/c of course it always seems to happen when my back is turned...you proceeded to tell me with a sassy attitude that "YOUR child smacked mine in the face." See...had you politely and in a much sweeter tone of voice brought to my attention that yes lets face it folks 2 year olds often times hit...I would have handled the situation better than I did. INSTEAD I abruptly decided that I didn't care and perhaps you needed one too. Note to the world...if you see this girl...

grrr. i hate how other people can influence the way we think about our parenting. and before i know it i'm like...what the heck just happened here? i'm doing a fine job. and so are you.
so wait...did you slap the ikea lady?? jk.
remember harrison is living proof of my alec biting him every day for a month. i don't even recall him biting anyone else ever. and now they are 10 and best friends.
we'll love hadlee...and wrestle her down too. :)
