Today we hiked.
For 3 miles.
With our fab kids and socially awkward dog.
It perplexes me how peeps can hike around with their many dogs sans leash.
Our dog I'm certain would not abide by such underlying dog without leash rules.
At one point Rylan tired.
He tried riding socially awkward dog.
Rowan rode around on peeps backs in a fancy gifted to us hiking carrier.
Fancy carrier that we love oh so much.
He stayed nervous and gripped t he handle.
Hadlee and I slowed to a stroll others way ahead.
Me: "Hadlee do you want to be a mommy when you grow up? I'd like to have lots of grandbabies."
Hadlee: "Mommy, can we talk about something else, I don't want to talk about that."
Me: "So does that mean you're not going to have any babies?"
Hadlee: "Nope."
Me: (gasping for air)
It was a perfectly delightful day.
With perfectly delightful weather to match.
