Rylan...the UNartist.

I have to admit it and it seriously kills me but Rylan h-a-t-e-s (I don't even like using the word but it does justice) ART! I have to blog about it b/c I'm a little sad about it. The boy has been in school for over a month now and has yet to bring home any sort of art project. The teacher did inform me that finally the other day she got him to color a picture of a policeman.....he took the paper from her, quickly scribbled a scribble scrabble and handed it back to her and asked....."That good?" ;) Sadly outside the classroom on the art wall it looks like my son doesn't even exist. AND I'm even teary when I see all the other proud mommy's picking up wet paint papers that were so graciously done. I wait for mine to be told....no art today for Rylan....sorry! We have boxes of artsie stuff at home too and he won't even budge.......what's the deal?
